Saima brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the Papua New Guinea and Australian market, having served in senior roles within ANZ Bank, Kina Bank, and the Central Bank of Papua New Guinea.

Prior to moving to FinCorp, Saima worked as Group Manager of Human Capital at Kina Bank during its transformative period involving business growth and acquisition, integration, and organisational reform. Saima is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and her experience aligns with continuing Fincorp’s commitment to developing and encouraging Women into Leadership roles.

Her leadership attributes are evident in her ability to engage cross-functional teams in a shared vision for excellence, demonstrate strategic and commercial acumen, and establish rapport and trust with managers and employees at all levels.

Saima holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University, Australia, and is also affiliated with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Outside of her professional endeavours, Saima has showcased her commitment to community leadership, having served as a Board Member of the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Port Moresby, President of ANZ Banking on Women, Vice President of Business Coalition of Women and President of the Rotaract Club of Port Moresby, among other roles.
