Goiye Gileng
Acting Chairman of the Board
Mr. Goiye Gileng was appointed to the Board in August 2014. Mr. Gileng has been a partner of Posman Kua Aisi (PKA) Lawyers since 2010 and specializes in Commercial Litigation. On completing of his Bachelors of Law in 1996, Mr Gileng was employed by Blake Dawson Waldron lawyers (PNG) from 1997-2000. In early 2001, Mr Gileng was posted to the Perth office of Blake Dawson Waldron lawyers, (on secondment from Papua New Guinea). During his time in Perth Mr Gileng was heavily involved in the liquidation of one of Australia’s then richest men, Mr Alan Bond.
In 2002 Mr. Gileng rejoined the office of Blake Dawson Waldron lawyers in Papua New Guinea until he resigned in 2008 to join PKA lawyers. In July 2011, Mr.Gileng was appointed Partner in Charge of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
