FinCorp has joined the campaign to support “PNG Man Up” to call for men to do more to stop violence against our women and girls.
Today, Friday 17th July, 2020 FinCorp male staff from both Port Moresby branch and head office made the pledge to show support to make real change to stop violence against women and girls in the presence of Mr. Solomon Kantha & Adam Hughes representing PNG Man Up at FinCorp Head Office at Aopi Centre.
A cheque of K12,000.00 was presented to PNG Man Up team to support in its operations today.
“FinCorp has a non-tolerance policy for spousal abuse as included in the Code of Conduct in its policy and we looking forward to the continuous support,” said Mr. Dominic Armbrust – Chief Executive Officer (Relieving).
“I would like to appeal to all organizations to step up and take the pledge. If we can do this, everyone can do it,” said Mr. Adam Hughes.
“We expect you to show your support and take the pledge knowing that the support you give today may save your wife, partner, daughter, grand-daughter, sister, aunty, niece or even your best friend in future.”
